You are viewing a very unique acoustic travel guitar from Washburn called the Rover. The body is made of gorgeous Mahogony tone wood and is finished in the unique dark red satin finish. A smooth mahogany neck joined to a rosewood fingerboard is set where it is easy to play because the strings are set low to the frets. This means it does not hurt your fingers. The guitar has a great acoustic sound for its size because it has a special solid spruce sounding board top. The Rover has a small body with a huge sound. It sounds much better than the other guitars offered for the outdoor back packer. The neck and body both have multiple ply binding. The guitar has a very nice attention to detail. It is a great guitar for the seasoned professional and the beginner alike. The guitar has a fully adjustable truss rod in the neck which makes it possible to adjust the action to make the guitar play easier if it ever needs the adjustment. To be sure the guitar tunes and stays in tune well, it has professional “Accord” Butterbean Tuners on the headstock. PLUS!!!! It has a great back pack Rover Case which has backpack straps and handy equipment pouch. It comes with a Washburn Rover Strap and picks.
