It is a great new case for the money. It has quality hardware and the latches are very secure. The center latch has a secure locking latch with a key. It has the heavy duty black tolex covering on the sturdy wood construction. The interior has nice padding in the sides and comes in a plush warm black lining. It is designed to fit most all Acoustic Basses including the Gibson, Washburn, Takamine, Dean, Ovation, Hohner, Martin, Aida, Hondo, Alvarez, Johnson, Morelli, Orpheum, Fender, Epiphone, and many other major brands of Acoustic and Acoustic Electric Bass. It will not fit a Tacoma Bass which has the largest Lower bout of any Bass on the market.
